Cinematic Christianity: When Pulp Fiction Replaces Holy Scripture

The Manifestation of Error: A solid foundation of Scripture is overshadowed by the flickering light of cinematic myth-making. This visual represents the 'Project 2025' mandate where Hollywood scripts and political ambition are being used to replace the authentic Word of God.

We have reached a sobering threshold in our national life. This week, the world watched as U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stood at a Pentagon prayer service and delivered a "biblical" recitation that wasn't biblical at all.

Instead of turning to the ancient, breathed-out Word of God, the Secretary recited a cinematic monologue from the movie Pulp Fiction. While the Pentagon claimed the prayer "reflected the spirit" of Ezekiel 25:17, the reality is that the verse used in the film was a screenwriter’s creation.

This isn't just a "fake news" moment or a late-night punchline. For the discerning Christian, this is a manifestation of a much deeper, darker blueprint: The New Apostolic Reformation’s (NAR) Project 2025.

The Blueprint of the Trojan Horse

What we are witnessing is the "fruit" of a false version of Christianity. Project 2025 was presented as the mandate for the new American presidency—a manual for governance that many believe is the secular arm of the NAR’s Seven Mountain Mandate.

This is the delusion of dominion. Under the pretense of "doing God’s work," these leaders are attempting to seize control of every pillar of society—government, military, and media—to "clear the world" of what they deem the antichrist spirit. They believe they must wage war to force the return of Christ.

This is Post-Millennial madness. It is a theology that is not found in the Bible, but rather in the boardrooms of power-hungry men. The NAR has inverted the Gospel, creating a "self-serving God" made in the image of right-wing nationalism.

The Inversion of Truth

False doctrine always ends in the production of terrible fruit. When you serve a God created in your own image, you inevitably end up swearing allegiance to an idol.

The NAR has created a twisted "theology" that is, in reality, a doctrine of demons designed to make a mockery of the faith. By taking the name of the only true God in vain—and misquoting Scripture as a cinematic prop—Hegseth has shown us the natural end of this error. It is a "custom Christianity" that serves the state while mocking the Savior.

The Lessons of History: God is Not Mocked

America has swung full-tilt into idol worship of the most extreme kind. We would do well to remember the Old Testament: God does not react well to the worship of "other gods." When the people of Israel reverted to serving idols that were not gods at all, the judgment was swift and the consequences were multi-generational.

It is no small thing to use the Holy Scriptures as a political cudgel or a Hollywood script. God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. If we sow the wind of idolatry, we will surely reap the whirlwind of judgment.

A Stern Warning to the Church

To those who claim to follow Christ and yet continue to defend the lunacy we are currently witnessing: Be warned. The behavior of this administration and its NAR architects is indefensible from a biblical viewpoint. To look the other way while the Word of God is replaced by "Pulp Fiction" is to participate in the blasphemy. You cannot claim to love the Truth while defending a lie. You cannot serve two masters.

If you find yourself making excuses for the mockery of God’s Word in exchange for political "wins," your heart has been snared by the very deception Jesus warned us about. It is time to repent, to come out from among them, and to return to the only King whose Kingdom is truly not of this world.
